Through our partnership with LLS, we’ve supported nearly 300,000 cancer patients nationwide. We’re proud to be LLS’s largest automotive donor.

That’s why Subaru and its retailers, like us, host adoption events and donate $100 to our partner shelter for every pet adopted during the month of October*. Through our partnership with local and national organizations, we have donated over $51 million, which has supported the adoption, rescue, transport, and health of over 420,000 animals. We’re proud to be the largest corporate donor to the ASPCA.
*Subaru retailers will donate $100 for every pet adopted from partner shelters from October 1, 2023 through October 31, 2023 up to $3,100 per retailer.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Light The Night brings light to the darkness of cancer. The light and warmth we generate delivers hope in time of despair, community in place of loneliness, and life-saving RESEARCH & SUPPORT for cancer patients and their families. Each year, friends, families, and co-workers gather together to celebrate, honor & remember those touched by cancer.

Molly-Chihuahua Molly is a little girl, 12 years old left abandoned and neglected in a box. She was found in the hallway of an apartment building in Staten Island NY. Molly was extremely emaciated and starved for love. She was skin and bones, you could see every bone in her spine. She only weighed 2 pounds. She was so scared shaking with her tail between her legs and her nails curled over. She just wanted to hide in the corner of the box. We rescued her and made her feel safe and loved with us .She was adopted to a great family and home. Molly now weighs 4 pounds living her best life getting all the love and attention she deserves that she never had her whole life. Thank you Island Subaru for helping us help our rescue animals have a second chance at life.
Island Subaru Supports RUMC Center for Cancer Care - Gabriella C.
On Monday June 26th, in the wake of a thunderstorm, the LLS Metro NY Chapter and Island Subaru had the pleasure of delivering over 200 blankets and arts and crafts kits to Richmond University Medical Center (RUMC), Center for Cancer Care as part of the Subaru Loves to Care Program. These blankets were received by the RUMC staff and Subaru partner John Espinoza who was thrilled to arrange delivery for their patients. Many thanks to everyone at My Island Subaru for not only an incredible day, but for their continued support of LLS’s mission to cure blood cancers and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

We rescued three beautiful Husky puppies that were abandoned on the street out in Tennessee, that ended up in a high-kill shelter. We got them the medical care that they needed to get transported to us and to be adoptable. Then, we found them great forever homes.
