Denino’s Pizzeria & Tavern

Denino’s at 524 Port Richmond Ave is a favorite in the local community. Denino’s has been in business at the same location for over 70 years and has won numerous awards for its pizza.

Their menu comprises fourteen pizzas, and with so many choices, there’s a pizza to suit everyone’s palate. Our favorite is the garbage pie with sausage, pepperoni, onions, meatballs, and mushrooms.

Joe & Pat’s Pizzeria & Restaurant

Joe’s has a long tradition in Staten Island, as their pizzeria first opened in 1960. Since then, they’ve been serving thin-crust NY-style pizza with their secret signature sauce. Their sauce is based on an old family recipe, but its taste and appeal shine through when you bite into their pizza.

Their pizzas are available in 12″, 14″, and 16″. You can also have them as gluten-free or with cauliflower crust. Once these decisions are made, the next step is deciding which of their thirteen delicious pizzas you’d like. Our favorite is the arugula pizza with red onions, grape tomatoes, and arugula, then topped with Reggiano cheese and balsamic. Joe’s can be found at 1758 Victory Boulevard.

Goodfella’s Brick Oven Pizza

Goodfellas is a relatively new addition to our favorite pizzerias, as they opened in 1992. Their signature style of using imported San Maranzano tomatoes, extra virgin olive oil, and the freshest mozzarella has been a big hit with the local community. All their pizzas are made from scratch, then fired in an 800 F brick pizza oven to give them a taste like no other.

They have fourteen signature pizzas and the option to create your pizza. We enjoy their buffalo chicken pizza, with buffalo chicken, crumbled blue cheese, provolone, and bruschetta. Visit Goodfellas at 1718 Hylan Boulevard.
