At Island Subaru, being part of Staten Island means more than selling and servicing cars on Hylan Boulevard. It means showing up for our neighbors. Through the Subaru Love Promise®, our team partners with local hospitals, shelters, animal rescues and community groups to support health, community, pets and the environment across Staten Island and the greater New York City area.

Health
Richmond University Medical Center
Richmond University Medical Center (RUMC) is a not-for-profit hospital serving Staten Island's diverse community. Island Subaru is a long-standing supporter of RUMC and contributed toward its new Emergency Department and Surgical Pavilion, helping bring advanced care closer to home for Staten Island families. Our team has also delivered comfort blankets to RUMC's cancer patients.
Community
Project Hospitality
Project Hospitality supports Staten Island residents facing homelessness, hunger and other urgent needs. Through Subaru Loves to Help® and Subaru's partnership with Operation Warm, Island Subaru has donated hundreds of new winter coats to Project Hospitality. One winter drive alone provided 257 coats and 257 pairs of shoes to children and adults in need.
Health
Blood Cancer United
Year after year, Island Subaru joins Blood Cancer United, formerly The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, to deliver Subaru Loves to Care® blankets and messages of hope to patients at Mount Sinai's Tisch Cancer Institute. We have also proudly sponsored the Light The Night event on Staten Island, which honors and supports people and families touched by blood cancer.
Pets
Angels on Earth Rescue
Angels on Earth Rescue is a Staten Island animal rescue that saves homeless, neglected, sick and abused animals. Through Subaru Loves Pets®, Island Subaru partners with Angels on Earth to help local shelter pets get the care they need and find loving, permanent homes.
Environment
Local Green Spaces
Through Subaru Loves the Earth®, Island Subaru has shared native trees with our community. One of them, a serviceberry, now grows in the native-plant pollinator garden at Christ Church New Brighton, where it supports birds, bees and other local wildlife.

The 2026 Subaru Share the Love® Event at Island Subaru
From November 19, 2026 through January 4, 2027, Subaru of America will donate $250 for every new Subaru purchased or leased at Island Subaru when the customer chooses a participating charity. Customers can choose from four national charity partners, the ASPCA®, Make-A-Wish®, Meals on Wheels America and the National Park Foundation, as well as participating hometown charities.
Over the past 18 years, Subaru and its retailers have donated more than $346 million to charity through Share the Love. When you choose your new Subaru with us this holiday season, part of your purchase goes to a cause you care about.
